Job Summary
Travel Consultant responsible for selling international and domestic travel packages (cruises, land packages, air, car, hotel), building long-term relationships with AAA members, and achieving sales goals through up-selling and cross-selling (e.g., AAA Member Rewards Credit Card, identity-theft referrals). The role emphasizes knowledge-sharing from personal experience, strong organizational skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems. Training and career development are provided, with opportunities for leadership growth. Must be available to work Saturdays and some evenings; requires completion of the Travel Consultant Trainee program and travel for training. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Background check
- Drug screening
- 2+ years of retail sales or banking experience or leisure travel agency background (preferred)
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems/web browsers, MS Office, typing 30 WPM
