Job Summary
Travel Consultant with AAA—sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel. Build long-standing relationships with members, tailor recommendations to expectations, and cross-sell products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity-theft referrals. Requires strong sales drive, organization, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication, and willingness to participate in ongoing training. Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Prefer 2- or 4-year college degree
- Pass criminal background check and urine drug screening
- Available to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Computer savvy; navigate multiple systems and web browsers; Microsoft Office
- Type at least 30 WPM
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Experience in retail sales or banking or leisure travel agency background preferred
