Job Summary
Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel; shares knowledge from personal experiences; develops long-standing relationships with AAA members; cross-sells products such as Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft referrals; training program with travel consultant trainee pathway and evaluations for leadership growth; emphasizes goal achievement, sales and customer-service excellence, and organizational skills; supports career development with The Auto Club University and extensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass comprehensive criminal background check and urine drug screening
- 2+ years of successful retail sales or banking experience or leisure travel agency background (preferred)
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems and web browsers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Available to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to cross-sell and up-sell travel products
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
