Job Summary
Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel services. Shares expertise from personal experiences and develops long-standing relationships with members to build referral and repeat business. Makes tailored recommendations and cross-sells relevant products like AAA Member Rewards Credit Cards to enhance trip experiences. Requires availability for most Saturdays and some evenings to support goal achievement. Completes training through The Auto Club University which includes some travel for instruction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and urine sample drug screening
- At least 2 years of successful retail sales or banking experience or a leisure travel agency background within a goal-orientated environment
- Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings to support goal achievement
- Computer savvy with the ability to navigate between multiple systems and web browsers, Microsoft Office, and can type at least 30WPM
- Strong and very comfortable relationship with paperwork and being very organized

- 2 or 4-year college degree
- Passion for travel
- Strong sales drive
- Organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in navigating computers and various programs
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Interest to be in a continuous learning curve
