Job Summary
Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel. Shares expertise from personal experiences and builds long-standing relationships with members to drive referrals and repeat business. Makes tailored recommendations, cross-sells relevant products like AAA Member Rewards Credit Cards, and identifies theft referrals to enhance trip experiences. Requires availability for most Saturdays and some evenings, completion of the Trainee program involving travel, and proficiency in multiple systems and Microsoft Office. Performs well in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and a passion for continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
- Ability to pass a thorough urine sample drug screening
- Availability to work most Saturdays and some evenings
- Computer savvy with the ability to navigate between multiple systems and web browsers
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Strong and very comfortable relationship with paperwork
- Ability to be organized
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or 4-year college degree
- At least 2 years of successful retail sales experience
- At least 2 years of banking experience
- Leisure travel agency background
- Experience in a goal-orientated environment
