Job Summary
Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under nurse supervision while strictly adhering to the five rights of medication administration. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and properly label, store, receive, and destroy all medications per company policy. Perform accurate medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing and hold a valid, unencumbered driver's license. This short- and long-term assignment supports consistent standards of care across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state
- Maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state
- Valid and unencumbered driver's license
