Job Summary
MedSurg RN provides bedside care for a variety of patients and executes individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care. Responsible for preparing equipment, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, and administering, recording prescribed medications. Initiates actions when adverse symptoms are observed. Performs dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts. Shift: 3X12 Nights. Location in the Mount Holly, NJ area (Camden region).
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- MedSurg/CCU experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS
- VIva-1
- Clinical experience in bedside care and patient assessment
- Ability to start IVs, insert catheters, change dressings, administer medications
- Shift willingness to nights (3x12)
