Travel CCU Charge Nurse

Oversee nursing staff and patient care during assigned shifts in the Coronary Care Unit, ensuring safe staffing ratios and direct patient care as needed. Monitor quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance while implementing immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety. Conduct patient and family rounding, serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff, and support daily unit operations by communicating care or safety concerns. Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments; supervise, coach, and evaluate staff to assist with performance management. Ensure adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels, and coordinate with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Maintain current state RN, BLS, ACLS, and Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification. Available for days and nights shifts in Lewiston, Maine, for a 12-week assignment with hourly pay up to $55.06 plus a $3/hour differential.
