Job Summary
Assist the physician by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared, monitor par levels of instruments and supplies, and participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Train new staff and assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures under general direction. Requires ARRT-R licensure, current BLS and ACLS certificates, and experience in a cardiovascular lab or interventional radiology. Shifts are per diem days with pay up to $920 gross per shift for 12-week assignments.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-R and licenses as required by State
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring
