Job Summary
Assist the physician by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared and monitor the par level of all instruments and supplies. Participate in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and the training of new staff. Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certificates.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-R and licenses as required by State
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring
