Travel Cath Lab Tech

The Cath Lab Technologist assists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, monitoring hemodynamic data, assisting physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, operating fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment, scrubbing in for sterile field setup, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety. The role requires technical expertise in cardiovascular procedures, the ability to work under high pressure, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Competencies include critical thinking, infection control, radiation safety, documentation, and proficiency with imaging systems and regulatory standards.
