Job Summary
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies. Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, and stents while operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Scrub in, maintain sterile fields, and perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed. Operate specialized imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs. Stock supplies, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Critical thinking

- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Desired Qualifications
