Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Lafayette, CO. The technologist assists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, prepares patients and equipment, monitors hemodynamic data, assists physicians during procedures, maintains sterile technique, and operates imaging equipment with attention to radiation safety and patient safety. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement, scrubbing in and assisting with sterile field, passing catheters and devices, operating fluoroscopy and monitoring systems, documenting patient data and equipment logs, managing supplies, and adhering to regulatory and infection control protocols. Essential skills include critical thinking, strong interpersonal communication, ability to read and follow instructions, and proficiency with PC systems; requires the ability to move equipment, stand for long periods, and work under pressure.
