Job Summary
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies while assisting physicians with passing catheters, wires, and balloons. Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, scrub in for sterile fields, and perform sheath removal and hemostasis. Maintain accurate documentation, manage inventory, and adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols. This 13-week travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina, requires one year of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification. Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
