Job Summary
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies. Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, and stents while operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. Scrub in for sterile field setup, perform sheath removal, and maintain accurate documentation of patient records and equipment logs. Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and hospital policies. Manage inventory, stock supplies, and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications. Operate specialized imaging equipment and contrast injectors to ensure proper functionality. Work in a high-pressure environment requiring critical thinking and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Desired Qualifications
