Job Summary

Conduct patient assessments and prepare individuals for cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. Assist physicians during procedures involving catheter, wire, balloon, stent, and structural heart device placement while monitoring hemodynamic equipment and vital signs. Manage patient positioning, EKG electrode placement, and sheath removal using closure devices or compression. Transport patients to recovery areas and maintain cath lab equipment to ensure full functionality. Communicate effectively with cardiologists, team members, and families to coordinate seamless care. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards. Requires one year of Cath Lab RN experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ability to work under pressure. Required Qualifications

  • One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
