Job Summary
Travel Cath Lab RN position in Pittsburgh, PA for a 13-week travel assignment with Fusion Medical Staffing. The RN will provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments, including preparing patients for procedures, assisting during interventions, and monitoring post-procedure recovery. Key duties involve operating hemodynamic equipment, assisting with catheter/ device placements (catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices), ensuring proper EKG leads placement, arterial/venous sheath management, patient monitoring (vital signs, ECG, hemodynamics), post-procedure care, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with cardiology teams while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
Desired Qualifications
- RCIS certification
- PALS or ENPC Certifications
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
