Travel Cath Lab RN

Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. The RN prepares patients for procedures, assists during interventions (placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, and other cardiac devices), operates hemodynamic equipment, and supports post-procedure recovery while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. Must communicate effectively with cardiologists, cath lab teams, patients, families, and physicians; requires advanced cardiac care skills, strong assessment abilities, and the ability to adapt quickly in a travel assignment environment. Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, patient positioning, assisting physicians during procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, post-procedure monitoring and transfer, equipment maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the care team.
