Job Summary
Conduct pre-procedure assessments, review medical histories, and perform physical exams for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization. Assist physicians during interventions by positioning patients, placing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and monitoring hemodynamic equipment and cardiac rhythms. Manage sheath removal using closure devices or compression, transport patients to recovery, and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies. Monitor vital signs and ECG parameters throughout procedures, communicate with team members and families, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Requires one year of Cath Lab RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. 13-week travel assignment in Kirkland, Washington.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
