Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments prior to cardiac catheterization, assist physicians during interventions including catheter and stent placement, and monitor hemodynamic equipment and vital signs. Position patients correctly, ensure proper lead placement, and operate machinery while recognizing changes in cardiac rhythms. Support post-procedure care by managing sheath removal, transporting patients to recovery, and maintaining lab equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and communicate effectively with the clinical team. Requires one year of Cath Lab RN experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism

- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail
