Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments prior to cardiac catheterization, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams. Assist physicians during interventions by positioning patients, placing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and monitoring hemodynamic equipment and waveforms. Manage sheath removal using closure devices or compression, transport patients to recovery, and maintain cath lab equipment. Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters throughout procedures while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Requires one year's recent Cath Lab RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
