Job Summary
Conduct cardiac catheterization patient assessments, prepare individuals for interventions, and assist physicians with catheter, wire, balloon, and stent placements. Monitor hemodynamic equipment, vital signs, and ECG waveforms during procedures, then manage sheath removal and transport patients to recovery. Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures

- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers

- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity

- Must have proficiency in PC skills

Desired Qualifications
- PALS or ENPC Certifications
