Job Summary
Conduct cardiac catheterization patient assessments, prepare individuals for interventions, and assist physicians with catheter, wire, balloon, and stent placements. Monitor hemodynamic equipment, vital signs, and ECG waveforms during procedures, then manage sheath removal and transport patients to recovery. Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment while ensuring infection control protocols and regulatory standards are met. Work with cardiologists and ancillary staff to provide seamless care under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Must have the ability to grasp
