Travel Cath Lab RN

The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. The RN prepares patients for procedures, assists during interventions, and monitors immediate post-procedure recovery. Works closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams, requiring advanced cardiac care skills, cardiac catheterization skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include assessing patients pre-procedure, positioning and preparing equipment, assisting during catheterization with devices (catheters, wires, balloons, stents, and other devices), operating hemodynamic equipment, managing recovery, and ensuring proper documentation and handoff. Must adhere to infection control and safety protocols and demonstrate effective teamwork and clinical proficiency.
