Job Summary
Travel Cath Lab RN responsible for specialized care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting during interventions (catheter/wire/balloon/stent placements), monitoring hemodynamics, assisting with arterial/venous sheath management, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe post-procedure recovery. Requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills, ability to work with cardiologists and cath lab teams, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and the ability to manage rapid clinical changes. Must possess a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS; preferred RCIS, PALS/ENPC. Travel environment with 13-week assignment in Stuart, FL; benefits and support provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- RCIS certification (preferred)
- PALS or ENPC Certifications (preferred)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
