Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments prior to cardiac catheterization, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams. Assist physicians during interventions by positioning patients, placing catheters and wires, and monitoring hemodynamic equipment and waveforms. Manage sheath removal using closure devices or compression, then transport patients to recovery while monitoring vital signs and ECG parameters. Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment to ensure full functionality and stock levels. Adhere to infection control guidelines and safety protocols while communicating effectively with the clinical team and families. Requires one year of Cath Lab RN experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and ability to work under pressure. 13-week travel assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Critical thinking

- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
