Job Summary
Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized cardiac catheterization and interventional care to patients. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting during interventions (catheter/wire/balloon/stent placement and structural devices), monitoring hemodynamics during procedures, assisting with arterial/venous sheath removal, transporting patients to recovery, and ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and proper equipment function. Requires strong communication, advanced cardiac care skills, and ability to adapt quickly within a travel assignment and collaborate with cardiology teams.
Required Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
