Job Summary
Conduct 13-week travel assignments as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, performing table-side scrubs with cardiologists and utilizing radiologic equipment including IVUS machines. Execute a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures such as PICC line insertions, aortic run-offs, dialysis catheter insertions, percutaneous nephrostomy tube exchanges, and Quintin Catheter procedures. Maintain high accuracy in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology while exercising independent judgment during 7a-530p shifts with 4/10-hour rotations Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology knowledge
- Attention to detail
- high level of accuracy
- Use of radiologic equipment
- Extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector
- Competent at table side scrub in with a Cardiologist on various cath lab procedures
- Understands the use of an IVUS machine
- Solid understanding of English, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to exercise independent judgment on a regular basis
- Ability to communicate effectively
- foster teamwork among fellow staff members
- experience in performing a variety of Interventional Radiology (I.R.) procedures
- Minimum two years experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility
- Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience
- Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
- fluoro license
- active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
- RCIS
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT, CA Fluro permit, BLS, and ACLS
