Travel Auditor Researcher Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct monthly audits of at least 30 travel documents, issuing Notices of Violation for identified policy breaches and ensuring corrective actions are resolved. Perform research to support investigations of potential fraud, providing qualified or unqualified opinions on organizational affairs. Generate and analyze weekly and monthly reports including DTS and MyTravel metrics, airfare/lodging summaries, and Control Activity Transportation of People reports. Interpret data analysis results to update briefs and collaborate with SSP branches, while maintaining confidentiality of all acquired information. Provide backup support for the Travel Help Desk Administrator when on leave.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Previous experience with SSP DTS and MyTravel
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: DTS and MyTravel on-line help
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: Defense Travel Management Officed (DTMO)
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: Passport/Travel Explorer (TraX)
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: Citibank on-line Commercial Cards
- Knowledge and skills used in transportation management systems or other database hardware and software such as: Visa IntelliLink System
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: Comptroller
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: SSP Financial and Human Resources Organizations
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: Travel Assistance Center (TAC)
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: PSD Transportation
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: PSD Fiscal
- Ability to interface with authorities such as: Travel Management Company (TMC)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written, phoned and emailed repair requests
- Ability to demonstrate basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to speak, communicate and write effectively
- Ability to produce, interpret and communicate reports
- Possess above average computer skills including Microsoft office tools
- Ability to regularly sit and talk or hear
- Ability to use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to occasionally walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific close vision abilities
