Job Summary
Provide guidance on official travel policies and procedures, assist travelers with authorizations and documentation, and review vouchers for accuracy and compliance. Verify reimbursement eligibility, support government travel charge card administration, and coordinate with vendors and auditors. Reconcile travel expenses, maintain financial records, and prepare recurring reports while ensuring adherence to federal regulations. This onsite role supports the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's official travel program, requiring five days per week with no telework exceptions. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum four (4) years of professional experience
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting official travel programs, travel administration, vouchers, travel authorizations, expense reimbursement, or related functions
- Experience reviewing travel documentation, receipts, invoices, and expense claims
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial and personal information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with no exceptions for telework
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, travel management, accounting, or related field
- Experience applying Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
- Experience with government travel systems and travel card programs
- Experience supporting executive-level travelers
