Job Summary
Travel Sales Agent at The Auto Club Group (AAA) in Boynton Beach, FL, responsible for generating new travel sales, retaining members, and growing a travel book of business through AAA’s products (cruises, hotel stays, air travel, car rentals, travel insurance, memberships, and credit cards). Provide consultative selling, manage inquiries via phone and in-person interactions, and close leads to meet travel sales goals. Role involves processing reservations, arranging travel details, nurturing client relationships, leveraging AAA leads, and utilizing digital tools to achieve objectives. In-office position with direct member service and travel-event/walk-in engagement to drive sales.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Work Experience: 1-year business to consumer sales
- Strong sales skills with a history of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads
- Advanced consultative selling techniques utilizing thorough product knowledge
- Strong phone sales and prospecting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus
