Job Summary
Create and change bookings for artist and employee travel, including domestic and international air, ground transportation, and hotel arrangements. Communicate with clients to determine destination, transportation modes, dates, and accommodations, then compute costs using the GDS while adhering to the Tiered Travel Policy. Assist with travel changes, special requests, and problem-solving, ensuring quality control on each reservation before queuing. Maintain passenger profiles, collect payments per client policy, and monitor assigned queues to ensure tasks are completed or re-assigned by shift end. Review daily briefings, participate in training, and work independently to resolve customer service issues while meeting productivity goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-Secondary Education in Travel and Tourism
- At least 4 years travel counselor experience
- Entertainment Travel Experience
- Sabre GDS experience
- Experience handling clients in the Entertainment/Media industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read and interpret information
- Attention to detail
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Domestic and potential global travel
- Must maintain good attendance record
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Appropriate and professional written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and consultative skills
- Demonstrates calm under pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to keep confidential any information, observations, or viewpoints regarding business matters

- Proficient on Sabre GDS

- Geography knowledge

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standard situations
