Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and surgical trauma support on the Trauma Surgical Unit at Mercy St. Louis, delivering hands-on care rooted in dignity and respect. Manage daily nursing duties for day-shift and night-shift rotations, including bedside eligibility for Stay Pay Program recognition. Maintain current RN or LPN licensure in Missouri and hold Basic Life Support certification. Participate in bridge programs for career advancement from LPN to RN or RN to BSN. Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- BSN
- Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire
