Job Summary
Trauma Surgeon sought to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Des Moines, IA. Full scope role includes operating room duties, rounding, clinic, and critical care with robotics integrated into acute care surgery; shared night EGS back-up; 16-bed CSICU co-managed with Pulmonary and Critical Care; involvement in general surgery residency adjunct faculty; EPIC EMR. Join a team of 6 physicians and 12 APPs with 15 shifts per month (days and nights) and one clinic day per week. Competitive base salary plus a recruitment incentive and relocation support; benefits start day one; CME allowance; tail malpractice; retirement options. J1 and H1B sponsorship encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon
- Board-certified or eligible in General Surgery/Trauma Surgery
- Active medical license in IA or eligible for licensure in IA
