Job Summary
Join our established Trauma group at Northside's only Level II Trauma Center with a light call schedule in a high acuity environment. Manage traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases while participating in on-call coverage and responding to trauma activations. Work within a multidisciplinary team at our award-winning facility, which recently received the Beacon Award for Excellence Gold Designation and is recognized by Newsweek among America's Greatest Hospitals in 2025. The team includes new Medical Tower, OR's, and ICU beds.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accrediated institution
- BC/BE in General Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in Trauma Surgery
- Valid state of Georgia medical license and DEA registration
- Demonstrated proficiency in the management of traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathy
- Ability to participate in on-call coverage and respond to trauma activations
