Trauma Sales Representative

Job Summary
Conduct high-intensity field sales of Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, acting as a resident trauma expert during operating room and emergency room consultations. Meticulously manage product inventory to ensure proper tool availability for customer implementations and provide product advice and training that builds credibility with surgical teams. Leverage knowledge of competitor offerings to secure buy-in and loyalty while maintaining strict adherence to AdvaMed compliance and confidentiality standards. This 100% commission role requires 30% travel and participation in sales meetings outside regular business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas)
- Comfort in emergency/operating room environments
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
- Adherence to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures
