Job Summary
Conduct field-based sales of Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, organizing solutions quickly during operating room and emergency room consultations. Manage and maintain product inventory while providing advice, training, and demonstrations on tools used to save lives. Build credibility by leveraging knowledge of both Stryker offerings and competitor products to meet customer needs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or four years of clinical healthcare or sales experience, with a preference for three years of sales history. Candidates must be comfortable working in emergency environments and attend sales meetings outside regular business hours. The position offers 100% commission with bonuses, a 30% travel expectation, and an on-call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas)
- Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
- Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company's policies and procedures

- Must be able to obtain the COVID-19 vaccination
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience preferred
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be beneficial)
