Job Summary
Trauma Sales Representative in Newark/DE region responsible for selling Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals. The role requires deep trauma product knowledge, field-based engagement with a sophisticated audience, on-call availability for trauma cases, and a strong emphasis on building relationships with surgeons and hospitals. Candidates must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments, capable of managing inventory, delivering product demonstrations and training, and participating in meetings outside regular hours. The position is 100% commission with bonuses and a travel expectation of ~20%, with a remote/field-based structure and defined territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.)
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas
- Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
- Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required
- Must adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting assets, and adhering to laws and company policies
