Job Summary
Trauma Registrar II independently abstracts trauma registry data from the electronic health record, codes injuries using ICD-10 and AIS, assigns Injury Severity Scores, ensures data completeness for state and national submissions, maintains productivity, participates in program performance improvement and registry quality audits, and mentors new registrars. Requires HS diploma or GED, 1-2 years trauma registry or clinical data abstraction experience, and AIS/ICD-10 certification. Based in Denver Health’s Trauma Service with a salary range of $23.92-$33.49 per hour, full-time days.

- 1-2 years of actual trauma registry or clinical data abstraction experience required
- ICD-10 Certification required
- AIS-Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale - AAAM - required
