Trauma Neurosurgeon Opportunity in Downtown Orlando, Florida

Serve as the first-line neurosurgeon for all incoming trauma cases during daytime hours, evaluating and managing patients with TBI and acute neurosurgical conditions. Perform emergent cranial neurosurgical procedures as indicated and collaborate with trauma surgery, critical care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Act as a liaison between hospital leadership and the trauma program to enhance clinical workflows, while participating in the development of best practices, protocols, and program goals for neurotrauma services. Ensure seamless transitions of care from inpatient to outpatient settings. This role establishes the first dedicated inpatient trauma neurosurgeon at Orlando Health's Level I Trauma Center, driving program development within a multidisciplinary team focused on advancing neurotrauma outcomes.
