Job Summary
Trauma Med Surg Registered Nurse provides patient-centered care in a trauma-med-surg setting, delivering procedures, administering medications, and documenting care while collaborating with providers. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition on admission and every shift, performing procedures as ordered, promptly documenting care, educating patients and families about condition, treatment, medications and follow-up, and translating complex medical terminology. Requires RN licensure (SC or compact), ADN/ RN Diploma or higher with BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred. Location: Hardeeville, SC; Sign-on bonus referenced in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
