Job Summary
Trauma, Critical Care, Acute Care Surgeon sought for a leadership role in the Department of Surgery. The position supports a Surgical Critical Care Residency Program Director and Surgical Intensive Care Unit Medical Director, reporting to the Chief of Trauma and Chair of Surgery. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, with demonstrated expertise in emergency surgery, trauma management, and medical education/research. Must hold an MD or DO and have completed a General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship. Required Qualifications
- board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school

- strong skills in emergency surgery, surgical critical care, trauma patient management
- record of teaching and research in health services, translational science, or basic science
