Job Summary

Coordinate Ohel's trauma response services throughout South Florida by recruiting, mentoring, and supervising the South Florida Trauma Team. Respond to traumatic events affecting individuals, families, schools, synagogues, and community organizations while providing crisis intervention, death notifications, and short-term counseling. Deliver workshops, webinars, and professional development to educators, administrators, and clergy, training school personnel in trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning. Partner with the Clinical Director to strengthen outreach and expand access to behavioral health services. Represent Ohel through community presentations and social media initiatives. This part-time position in Hollywood, Florida, includes a competitive benefits package with a 403B retirement plan and paid time off.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience, including trauma, crisis intervention, or disaster response
  • Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and social-emotional learning
  • Experience working in schools or educational settings
  • Excellent presentation, training, leadership, and public speaking skills
  • Calm, compassionate, flexible to provide steady support during times of crisis
