Job Summary
Operate a Roll Off trash truck to service Industrial, Commercial & Construction customers, transporting large container loads and ensuring safe, compliant delivery and pickup. Responsibilities include securing and covering loads, preparing and providing delivery/pickup documentation, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining route sheets and vehicle records, communicating with dispatch, and complying with DOT regulations. Requires a valid Texas CDL (Class A) and DOT medical card, ability to pass drug screen and background checks, and successful completion of written and road tests; role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to federal/state regulations. Education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with prior driving experience and basic computer skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- DOT medical card
- Pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Successfully complete and pass a written and road test
- Meet all Federal & State DOT requirements
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills: basic use of tablets and applications
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
