Trash Truck Driver - Front Load

Job Summary
Operates a Roll Off trash-collection truck to service industrial, commercial, and construction customers, transporting large containers on assigned routes, and ensuring safe, compliant delivery and pickup. Responsible for securing loads per DOT, completing required documentation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle and equipment in a presentable, safe condition, and communicating with dispatch to coordinate daily operations. Requires a valid Texas CDL (Class A), DOT medical card, ability to pass drug screen and background check, and adherence to federal/state DOT regulations; physical ability to operate and inspect a heavy vehicle and work outdoors in varying weather. A High School diploma or GED is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- DOT medical card
- Pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Meet all Federal & State DOT requirements
- DOT physical
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Excellent driving skills
- Experience with Roll Off containers (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with customers and dispatch
- Basic math skills
- Computer/Tablet literacy
