Job Summary
Collect garbage, debris, and recyclables from homes, streets, and businesses by picking up bins, manually moving material into trucks, and replacing trash cans curbside. Lift cans by hand or use a hydraulic lift to empty dumpster contents into the truck, operating automated or semi-automated hoisting devices as needed. Accompany drivers when transporting refuse to dump, landfill, or recycling centers. Rotate through three daily routes covering residential trash, yard waste, or recycling. Perform these duties Monday through Friday in a remote Tampa depot, requiring your own reliable transportation and the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly over a 10-12 hour shift.
