Job Summary
Conduct patient transport by stretcher, wheelchair, or cookie chair to designated locations throughout the facility. Transport medications with patients upon request and connect patients to oxygen if needed. Maintain excellent documentation skills and use handheld electronic devices while providing superior customer service. Requires BLS certification and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Previous healthcare experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved
- Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers or cookie chairs
- Ability to stand or walk for periods of time
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
