Job Summary
Transport patients to and from locations within the hospital and assist on nursing units when available. Organize and distribute schedules while maintaining transportation supplies. Report observed changes in patient condition or behavior to registered nurses. Prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with team members. Requires current Adventist HealthCare employee status, High School diploma, and active Basic Life Support certification. Evening shift from 1 PM to 9:30 PM with every other weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to prioritize and report observed changes in patient condition or behavior to RN
- Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
- Skills in talking to others to effectively convey information
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Non-nicotine user status
- Non-marijuana user status
- 1PM to 930pm shift availability
- Every other weekend shift availability
- Part-time employment classification
- 24hrs/week hours availability
- Evening shift availability
- Internal Transport Department role acceptance
