Job Summary
Transport patients and assist with transportation and transfer, move equipment and prepare operating/procedure rooms, and assist with cleaning operating and procedure rooms. Use beds, chairs, stretchers, and other equipment to move patients throughout DRH facilities and outside for pickup. Interact with patients, family, and visitors; maintain safety protocols; complete continuing education; adapt care methods to individual needs; respirator and fit testing required for at-risk roles; vaccinations required; strict adherence to DRH standards of behavior and policy; part-time shift with regular attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or work-related experience preferred
- Ability to read information on papers and computer screens
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Communications skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and vaccination requirements
- Current valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance for positions requiring travel (if applicable)
- Safety-Sensitive position with pre-employment drug testing requirements
