Job Summary
Safely transport passengers between residences, healthcare facilities, and other destinations throughout Las Vegas and surrounding areas using company vehicles equipped with GPS and two-way communication systems. Use navigation tools and dispatch systems to ensure timely arrivals, communicate trip status and delays, and assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles using proper techniques and equipment such as wheelchairs and stretchers. Secure passengers and equipment in accordance with safety protocols, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete trip logs and documentation accurately. Follow all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements including HIPAA, and report incidents promptly. Work independently while maintaining flexibility for assigned shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 22 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Nevada driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience
- Acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards (no major violations, suspensions, or at-fault accidents)
- Ability to safely operate large vehicles for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, and maneuver up to 125+ pounds, with or without assistance or appropriate equipment
- CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism in time-sensitive and high-demand situations
- Ability to work in medical transport environments, including exposure to bodily fluids, using appropriate safety precautions
- Knowledge of the Las Vegas area and surrounding roadways preferred
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in non-emergency transportation or a similar role
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Experience working in healthcare or with diverse populations
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
